Poker is a popular game all over the world close to becoming a form of sport and enjoying international tournaments every day.
What is sports poker?
Sports Poker is a logic-based card game, where players compete against each other in accordance with the game rules. Poker is clearly distinguishable from typical casino games. Stamping poker as a game of luck or accident might be justified if not for the fact that the game requires knowledge, skill and experience and active negotiating interaction between the players rather than being determined at the moment the cards are dealt.
Players trade while sharing a number of cards on the table (flop, turn, river) and have to make the right choice among a variety of options, whereby the chips are available in a predetermined number and are provided to players before each round. This complex mechanism of rules and factors has enabled the creation of a proper format for the poker tournaments.
